Certified Nursing Assistant Program
Do you like helping others? Are you ready to further your personal and professional development? 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 offers a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Course that can lead to a beginning career in health care.
Mission
To provide a student-centered occupational preparatory program which will graduate competent, safe and compassionate nursing assistants who are prepared to provide excellent care as part of the health care team.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Define the role of a nursing assistant.
- Describe the responsibilities of a nursing assistant
- Perform specified skills required to function as a member of the health care team.
- Demonstrate safe, competent care within the practice guidelines of a nursing assistant.
- Provide care in accordance with the rights of every patient.
Program Requirements
Complio (American Database) is the program we use for background checks, drug screening, immunizations tracking, and other documents. This program is also used to place students in their clinical rotation. Students must create an account and purchase 4 packages within this program:
- Background check

- Immunizations tracking

We offer CNA classes in Elko, Battle Mountain Winnemucca, Lovelock, Ely and Pahrump.
Testing

Credentia provides written knowledge and skills exams required for certification with the Nevada State Board of Nursing (NSBN).
NSBN Certification Process
- Successful completion of the 澳门新甫京娱乐游戏在线下载 CNA NURS 130 course
- Create an account in the Nurse Portal http://nvbn.boardsofnursing.org/nvbn/, complete a CNA license application and submit the application fee to NSBN.
- Schedule and pay for the required written and skills exams through the CNA365 application on the Credentia website http://credentia.com/
